Two versions of Sig P226 Elite.

 Here are two Sig P226 Elite I own. The newer version has a beaver tale versus no beaver tale for the older version.  Also, the new version was completely made in USA but the older version's frame was made in Germany.  Note the difference in the extractor length in both versions. They went with external extractor versus internal one due to the fact the newer slides are made out of solid steel. I didn't noticed any difference in function wise. They all shoot great without any FTE. BTW, the newer Elite is in 40 cal and the other in 9mm.  I do have a 9mm conversion barrel from Bar-Sto for the 40 cal Elite.
